Privacy Policy

This site is independently operated by Leo Romero, a sales consultant at Mazda of North Miami ("we," "us," or "Leo"). It is not an official Mazda Motor Corporation website. This policy explains what information we collect through this site, how we use it, and your choices. By using this site or submitting a form, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect what you choose to give us and basic technical data:

Information you provide — your name, phone number, email address, the vehicle or model you're interested in, lease/purchase preference, trade-in details, and anything you write in the message field.

Consent record — when you agree to be contacted, we store the exact consent text shown, its version, a one-way hash of that text, a timestamp, and your IP address and browser type, as a record of your consent.

Technical data — IP address, browser/device type, referring page, and cookies or similar identifiers (see Section 6).

We do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or financial-account information on this site. Any full credit application is completed on the dealership's own secure, separate system.

2. How We Use Your Information

To respond to your inquiry; to contact you by phone, text, or email about vehicles and offers (with your consent); to prepare quotes and structure your deal; for advertising measurement (see Section 5); and to keep records, prevent fraud/spam, and comply with law.

3. Text Messaging & Call Consent (TCPA)

If you check the consent box, you agree that Mazda of North Miami and Leo Romero may contact you by call or text at the number you provide, including via automated technology, about vehicle offers. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time, or ask us to remove your number.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your information. We share it only as needed to serve you:

Service providers — our form processor (Formspree) receives your submission so we can reach you; advertising platforms (see Section 5) receive limited, hashed data for measurement.

The dealership — when you move forward with a deal, we share the details needed to complete it with Mazda of North Miami.

Legal — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.

5. Advertising & Analytics

We use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and its Conversions API to measure ad performance. When you submit a form, a hashed (irreversible) version of your email and/or phone may be sent to Meta to match conversions. We do not send Meta your name or message content. You can limit ad tracking in your browser and in your Facebook/Instagram ad settings, and through tools like the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out.

6. Cookies & Similar Technologies

This site uses a small number of identifiers: advertising cookies set by Meta (e.g., _fbp/_fbc) for the Pixel, and your language preference stored locally in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may work less smoothly.

7. Data Retention

We keep lead and consent records for as long as needed to respond to you, complete a deal, and meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, after which we delete or de-identify them.

8. Your Choices & Rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by calling or texting (786) 213-5049 or using the contact form on this site. Depending on your state (including Florida), you may have additional rights; we honor applicable requests. Reply STOP to end texts.

9. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for adults shopping for a vehicle and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information submitted through this site. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and we will update the "Last updated" date above.
